Anca Dobrean is a professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj Napoca, as well as a principal clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist accredited by the Romanian Board of Psychologists. Her current research interests focus on identifying mechanisms that can explain mental disorders in children and adolescents, particularly those associated with anxiety and depression, as well as the investigation of innovative technology-based intervention methods. Currently, she is leading a project aimed at identifying the mechanisms involved in bullying victimization.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Costina-Ruxandra Poetar (Păsărelu) is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy within the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeş-Bolyai University. Her main research interests focus on investigating the efficacy/effectiveness of interventions delivered through technology (online interventions, mobile applications, interventions delivered through virtual reality) for children, adolescents, and parents.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Raluca Balan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Babeș-Bolyai University. Her primary research interests focus on the use of technology in delivering interventions for mental health issues among children and adolescents, as well as the investigation of the mechanisms involved in school bullying. Currently, she is leading a project aimed at developing and testing the effectiveness of a digital intervention for adolescents who are victims of bullying.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Raluca Georgescu is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Additionally, she is a clinical psychologist and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist with the right to private practice within the College of Psychologists of Romania. Her current research interests focus on the systematic analysis of literature, technology-applied interventions, and the psychometric properties of assessment tools used in clinical evaluations and interventions in the field of mental health. Currently, she is leading a project aimed at testing the efficacy of a technology-based intervention for reducing post-operative pain.

Postdoctoral Researcher

Andreea Robe is a pediatric psychiatrist and an associate teaching assistant at the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, as well as at the Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University. She obtained her Ph.D. in psychology in 2022 within the Doctoral School „Evidence-based assessment and psychological interventions” with a thesis entitled „Heart rate variability as a potential neurophysiological marker in children and adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.” Her professional expertise includes specialized services in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental disorders. Her research interests encompass the psychopathology of children and adolescents, physiological measurements as markers of psychological functioning, and highlighting the interactive relationship between the human body and the cortex.

Robert Balazsi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychology, Babeş-Bolyai University. Robert conducts research in organizational psychology, quantitative psychology and psychometrics.

Postdoctoral researcher

Stelian Florean is a researcher in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. He obtained his doctorate in 2022 by presenting a thesis that focused on identifying and understanding the key parental factors involved in the psychopathology of children. Currently, he is an associate teaching assistant at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, Babeș-Bolyai University, where he teaches two courses: Research Methodology and Statistics, as well as Psychological Assessment. In addition to his expertise in clinical psychopathology in children and adolescents, he is passionate about understanding and applying advanced statistical analysis methods.

Doctoral student

Florina Anichitoae is a is a doctoral candidate in the Doctoral School Evidence-Based Assessment and Psychological Interventions Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. She completed her undergraduate studies and later pursued master’s programs in „Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Psychotherapy” and „Forensic Psychology” at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. She is a certified psychotherapist and clinical psychologist accredited by the Romanian Board of Psychologists. Her research interests focus on the mechanisms involved in cyberbullying in children and adolescents.

Denisa Petriș is a doctoral student in the Doctoral School Evidence-Based Assessment and Psychological Interventions at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca.

Master‘s student

Lorena Lala s a student in the Master’s program in Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counseling, and Psychotherapy at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. In 2019, she received a special scholarship for scientific activity during the academic year 2019-2020, awarded by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Science and Technology – STAR-UBB Institute. Among her research interests is the investigation of reciprocal influences within parent-child dyads on emotional development. She is also interested in technology-assisted psychological interventions (e.g., virtual reality, PC and mobile platforms) and identifying moderators of clinical effectiveness. Currently, she is involved in activities within the Superior Council of Magistracy and works in private practice..

Master’s student

Anna Boglárka Lința is a resident in Pediatric Psychiatry working at the Pediatric Psychiatry and Substance Abuse Clinic in Cluj-Napoca. Additionally, she is a student in the Master’s program in Psychological Techniques for Behavior Control and Human Potential Development at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Her areas of interest include transdiagnostic emotional regulation mechanisms, along with the pharmacological approaches to internalizing disorders in children and adolescents.

Master’s student

Elisa Husovschi is a master’s student at the Faculty of Psychology, Babeș-Bolyai University, and is currently preparing for a career as a psychotherapist. She wishes to share the knowledge and skills she has acquired so far so that others can benefit from them as well. She believes it is important to invest in children because they are our future. For this reason, she has chosen to dedicate herself to this project, hoping that through information, acquiring new skills, and support, individuals will be able to overcome the difficulties they face in bullying situations.

Șerban Oșlobanu is a second-year master’s student specializing in Psychological Techniques for Behavior Control and Human Potential Development at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Currently, he is coordinating a social responsibility project within a non-governmental organization that facilitates educational opportunities for adults and children. Volunteering and academic debates are hobbies he discovered in high school, which still occupy a significant portion of his weekends. As a result, completing various application forms has become a pre-planned and regular activity for him.
