Raluca Balan is a postdoctoral researcher at the Seymour Fox School of Education, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, and an associated researcher of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She earned her PhD in Psychology in 2021 from the Doctoral School of Psychodiagnostics and Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions at Babeș-Bolyai University.
Raluca has been involved in multiple research projects focused on developing and evaluating technology-assisted psychological interventions aimed at reducing emotional problems and bullying among children and adolescents. Her research interests primarily center on understanding the mechanisms underlying school bullying and exploring the use of technology in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
She is currently leading a research project aimed at developing and assessing the effectiveness of a customized ChatGPT designed to support adolescents who witness bullying incidents.
